Designer Daniela d’Agostino honors the warrior goddess Athena with a bold ring, mixing the virtues of protective malachite with the elegance of a vintage-style design.
Born into an Italian-Venezuelan family, designer Daniela d’Agostino is what we call a citizen of the world. She had lived on almost every continent before reaching the age of 20. It was a great opportunity for her, as she thrived on contact with other cultures throughout her childhood.
Daniela d’Agostino draws her inspiration from traveling, and from her lifelong passion for design and architecture. Her collections take us to the volcanic lands of Saint Lucia, as well as to the snowy landscapes of the Swiss Alps, where she now resides. An eclectic universe where influences meet to give life to unique pieces.
With “Les Féries de l’Orient”, the designer introduces us to the charms of Middle Eastern culture. The eye-catching palette of colors ranges from the red and orange shades of the Moroccan desert to the blue starry sky of the Mediterranean. For one collection, Daniela d’Agostino focuses on Athena, the warrior goddess, a symbol of wisdom and freedom. To awaken the daring woman inside us, the designer created a cabochon ring set with a sumptuous malachite. Its shades of deep green are enhanced by a crown of white diamonds. A piece of jewelry with obvious charm, to wear as a protective talisman.
