Muriel Gibault launches April by MG in 2010 – a jewelry collection ethically responsible. All of her pieces are made of 100% fairmined gold set with diamonds following the process of Kimberly, using recycled silver and presented in organic packaging.
She spent most of her carreer as head of human ressources in luxury groups, therefore, her destiny was not around crafting jewelry collections. Yet, Muriel Gibault dared launching a new concept 100% sustainable.
April by MG. Paris sets the tone of a fine jewelry collection with graphic and minimalistic lines almost to square. The engagement ring has been reshaped and modernised, mounting the central diamond in a close set.
Premier Baiser is the latest ring collection setting in the round version a brilliant cut diamond; in the princess version a square or diamond-shaped diamonds; and in the trillion version a triangle-cut central diamond. Each piece is available in the three types of gold.Murial Gibault takes pride in crafting the Premier Baiser collection in Fairmined gold which certifies that man labor and the environment are well respected and child labor is excluded. Each diamond set in her jewelry is certified by the Kimberley process – which confirms that the stone has been sourced out of a conflict-free zone. Finally, as a French Jewelry designer, her fabrication process is validated by the RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council and EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant).
