As the apprentice of his beloved father– a master jeweler in Armenia and Russia -, the Armenian-born designer learnt everything about the art of jewelry and the elegance of hand-carving on the bench of the family workshop.
After studying filmmaking in the United States, Arman Sarkisyan who describes himself as « a sucker for detail », launched his eponymous brand in 2004.
Blending ancient jewelry techniques with modern aesthetics, its creative world evocatively relates to the Gothic Renaissance. His collections are modern heirlooms born from the designer’s eclectic imagination.
Its one-of-a-kind blue sapphire and diamond ring irradiates of a beauty rarely seen in today’s craftmanship. Hand-fabricated, this so-called sapphire cake ring features a floral design with a blue sapphire in the center surrounded by circles made of blue sapphires and white diamonds.
Sarkisyan’s jewelry includes masterpieces, such as the green tourmaline pendant, but is also comprised of everyday wardrobe jewelry essentials that can be worn effortlessly. His specialty ? Crafting jewelry on blackened gold to give an ancient look finish although it was just made in his atelier.
