Celebrating this year the 70th anniversary of the Cannes film festival and 20th year as official partner of the festival, Cannes was the perfect opportunity for Swiss jeweler Chopard to officially launch its collection with Pop singer Rihanna.
The Barbadian popstar has teamed up with Chopard and Caroline Scheufeule to co-design an exclusive range that comes in two parts : a minimal collection of delicate necklaces, rings, earrings and a High-Jewelry collection.
The nine-piece fine jewelry capsule, limited to 2,000 per design, is an addition to the Ice Cube range. Offering a more minimalist and graphic direction, these new takes on house icons are crafted from ethical 18-varat Fairmined-certified rose gold, and feature ceramic — a first for Chopard — in a shade of jungle green personally picked by the star.
For the High-Jewelry pieces, the singer draws its inspiration from her home country that embodies in exotic floral designs and vibrant coloured gemstones.
