The enchanted isle, i.e. celebrating a never-ending summer. This season, the jewelry house sets sail for the Aegean Sea and its sprinkling of magical islands. For a stopover bathed in light.
For his new high jewelry collection, entitled Enchanted Isle, Jeremy Morris chose to celebrate his cherished island, Mykonos. Star of the Cyclades, the isle also known as “the island of winds” is one of the Creative Director’s mooring points, where he also has a vacation home. And, here it’s all about summertime getaway, because Jeremy Morris drew his inspiration for this collection from his personal memories.
Enchanted Isle is an invitation to discover the archipelago in a new light which offers up its colorful ballet to those passing through. A scenescape which is unveiled as dawn breaks, when the first rays of sunshine kiss the whitewashed houses. David Morris recreates this light in a series of dazzling diamond-adorned rings, such as this model featuring a 6.70-carat gem paved with white and rose diamonds.
Where the piercing blue sea embraces the virgin white buildings. A contrast which inspired a line of jewelry pieces showcasing the highly-valued Paraiba tourmaline.
The visit pursues its route through the cobblestoned alleyways, where our glance is drawn to the intense brightness of bougainvillea. An ephemeral display recreated through this impressive necklace imagined as a floral cascade of rubies and white diamonds. The perfect piece for adorning delicately sunkissed skin.
Day is drawing to a close, and the sun, whilst taking its final bow, drapes Mykonos with a delicate pinkish hue. Or perhaps it’s the sparkle of the conch pearl, boosted by the vibratory energy of the white diamonds? Whatever… The magic of the gemstones wows.
