Born in Bahrain, educated in the U.K. and based in Geneva, Farah Monfaradi is an established artist who developed her art within canvas, framed flags and jewelry art. Farah Monfaradi was born in 1968 in Bahrain. She was raised and educated in the U.K and now established in Geneva, Switzerland, raising as a single mom her daughter Soraya. Diving and working on the lake since 2000 Farah has sold her art locally and internationally in the Middle East, Europe and Amercia. She has been exhibiting quite often at various important fairs such as Dubai Art fair, Abu Dhabi Art or Istanbul Art Fair. She believes she has the best of both worlds to offer in her work , drawing from liberal European upbringing as well as her Middle Eastern heritage. This is strongly reflected in her art, an art she expresses through a variety of examples and techniques : canvas, jewelry, flags, mirors or sculptures. Her art is comprised of stackable books hand stitched and customized then assembled with acrylic gel written on the cover. Peacock feather sculpture remains her most astounding piece of art where the sculpture represents hundreds of feathers delicately assembled next to one another. She works with various materials like gel on canvas mixed with installations, photographs, mirrors, books, and has created a series of jewelry art made of 925 sterling silver gold plated finished in yellow, rose or white gold. Farah Monfaradi is also known for working on bespoke art pieces with and for her clients. In regards to her bracelets, all pieces can be personalized allowing 3 to 4 weeks for delivery. Farah Monfaradi est née en 1968 à Bahreïn. Elle a été élevé et éduqué en Grande Bretagne. Farah vit maintenant à Genève (Suisse) avec sa fille Soraya qu’elle élève toute seule. Farah travaille à Genève depuis 2000, elle vend son art localement mais également internationalement comme au Moyen Orient, en Europe et aux Etats-Unis. Elle a souvent exposée à d’importantes foires comme la foire de Dubai, la foire de Abu Dhabi ou encore la foire d’Istanbul. Elle met à profit ses deux héritages culturels afin de lier son libéralisme européen à sa culture moyenne orientale dans son travail.
