The creator: After learning the art of jewelry-making with prestigious brand Cartier, Flavie Paris founded her label FLAV in 2015. Her collections draw their inspiration from her passion for art, architecture as well as Paris, a city ever-so close to her heart. FLAV jewelry, created in her Parisian studio, are designed and then hand-sculpted using the traditional lost-wax casting technique. A choice which gives the jewelry a little extra soul.
The Eye of Jewelry selection: The jewelry pieces echo creator Flavie Paris’ multiple influences. Antiquity, Parisian art and architecture, nourish her world. We adore the way she revisits age-old symbols and embraces them in up-to-the-minute jewelry. So, here are our top three:
The Aphrodite Hugger: The must-have accessory to twist your style without having to get your ears pierced! The 18-carat red-gold model is strewn with a shower of brown and natural-colored diamonds, perfect for adding a touch of dazzle.
The Vertige au Printemps necklace: We just love the necklace’s contrast where pared-down design is combined with vibrantly-colored paved stones (pink and pale-green sapphires, white and brown diamonds) which seal the tip of a shaped gold wire. An up-to-the-minute look for this piece, easy to wear on a daily basis.
The Sonia ring: This ring, which pays tribute to the painter Sonia Delaunay, alludes to working with color and to the symbolic references, highly-present in her work. Circles are added together in this piece which embraces a sculpture-like form, crowned with a medley of gems, a diamond, sapphires and a red spinel. A declaration ring to offer or receive!
