As a former fashion press agent, Carla knew very quickly that one day she would set up her own label. This has been the case since 2020, with Dolla, with Dolla, a resortwear brand that celebrates the Mediterranean art of living. The project is a tribute to her grandmother Dolores, of whom she keeps a vintage photo, in which she appears in a black bikini with gold-coloured jewelled straps. The desire then came to her to revive this expression of femininity that is both elegant and terribly seductive.
After several months of development, spent designing the jerseys, production can finally begin between France, Italy and Portugal. To ensure a sustainable production, Carla opted for OEKO-TEX 100 certified fabrics and Econyl, a recycled yarn made from plastic waste, for the outer fabrics. On the design side, Dolla She has chosen a minimalist style that flatters the figure. Two models to choose from: Lola, a one-piece with a flattering cut, and Dolores, an iconic triangle bikini.
To match these summer wardrobe essentials, a series of interchangeable jewel straps are attached with a unique hook specially developed by the brand. Silver or gold chains, XL links, or pearls with retro charm, there is a variety of options. Our favorite? The capsule resulting from the collaboration between Dolla and Holi Editions which mixes quartz with amazonite and tiger’s eye with green aventurine.
