We all know Andy Warhol, the great Pop Art pioneer of the 60’s, but do you know his greeting cards? TEOJ tells you… It was in December 1957, the painter was in charge of illustrating greeting cards for the house of Tiffany & Co., which were all sold in the jeweler’s flagship store on 5th Avenue. The idea was to spread these cards full of joy and fantasy. With watercolors, birds and stars perched near a tree, Andy Warhol continued to distribute joy to all the house’s customers until Christmas 1962.
This winter, Tiffany & Co revives the magic of Warhol by offering home accessories, tableware or these famous greeting cards in the image of the painter and his whimsical spirit of Christmas, presentation in pictures:
