News 1 – BREITLING BOUGHT UNIVERSAL GENÈVE
UG collectors grinning all over the world !

Breitling has acquired the brand, marking a transformative chapter for the renowned brand. Georges Kern, Bretling’s current CEO, acknowledges the responsibility of upholding Universal Genève’s profound heritage. The move aims to revive the prestige of universal Genève, known for its in-house movements and emblematic models. A dedicated team deployed for the upcoming journey will ensure that the two brands operate as separate entities. 

Universal Genève  – in case you didn’t know…
Universal Genève was founded in 1894 by Numa-Emile Descombes and Ulysse Perret in Le Locle, Switzerland. The company initially focused on the production of precision timepieces, including pocket watches.
Universal Genève gained recognition for its innovations in watchmaking, particularly in the development of complicated timepieces. The brand was known for creating watches with various complications such as chronographs, moon phases, and calendar functions. Like many Swiss watchmakers, Universal Genève faced challenges during the Quartz Crisis in the 1970s and 1980s when quartz watches gained popularity. The company underwent various ownership changes and faced financial difficulties.

NEWS 3 – NADINE GHOSN IS EVERYWHERE THE COOL IS !
She collaborated another time with rap-singer Drake and took a cooking class with the famous pastry chef Cédric Grolet!

Nadine Ghosn x Drake :
The Lebanese jewelry designer, Nadine Ghosn, has recently posted on her Instagram account, a picture of her famous Pencil bracelet – But this time, this one is a bit different.. it was exclusively (as written on the box) designed for the Canadian rapper Drake – 1 of 1 of course! As you can see from the photo, it looks thicker than the pencil bracelets in his permanent collection. 

Nadine Ghosn x Cédric Grolet :
To round off this Epiphany, Cédric Grolet and Nadine Ghosn have created an 18-carat gold pendant bank worth 8’800 euros ! Good news, it’s hidden inside one of our “Pain Chic” epiphany galettes. NEWS 6 – TIFFANY & CO. UNVEILED A REEDITION OF AN ORIGINAL CLOCK
