Pink October, the month of breast cancer awareness and screening, begins every year on Sunday October 1. Unfortunately Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women. Nearly one woman in eight will be affected in her lifetime… One of the main risk factors for developing breast cancer is age: 80% of breast cancers develop after the age of 50, and the median age at diagnosis is 64. But let’s look on the bright side. If checked and taken early : you’re safe ! One more tip – avoid sugar (refined must be prohibited) as much as possible as Cancer cells are fed off sugar… which help them grow !

This October, Avani has taken the decision by joining forces with the “Ruban Rose” association to create a capsule collection of 10 unique pieces. These creations have been designed around the pink sapphire, a symbol of gentleness and courage, with an innovative design echoing the shapes of the ribbon, with an unheated, 100% natural pink sapphire at the top.
From 10 a.m. on Wednesday 18 October, people will be able to join a waiting list to acquire one of these rings, which celebrate beauty in the service of a noble cause. For each sale, 10% of the profits will be donated to the chosen charity.
As part of the Pink October campaign, STATEMENT is committed to help fund Research against breast cancer with the Pink Ribbon association, by donating 50% of its profits made at the flagship store on Saturday, October 15th and 5% of its sales made on the website from October 1st to 31st included.
3. STONE PARIS
In honor of Pink October, Stone Paris supports Ruban Rose, an association fighting against breast cancer. It is though their pink gold jewelry and their pink travel pouches that they wish to highlight those who are fighting this disease.
At the end of the month, 10% of the profits from the online and in-store sales will be donated to Ruban Rose Association.

Twenty percent of the purchase price from sales of these pink ribbon designs through October 31, 2023 will be donated to BCRF. David Yurman will make a minimum donation of $10,000. U.S. & Canada stores/website only.
7. Ginette NY
Ginette NY has joined forces with the association Ruban rose to support breast cancer research. The brand has created two variations of its iconic Coeur Angele, in rose quartz and many more jewels with stunning pink topaz.
This year, WHITEbIRD is engaged with the association Ruban Rose. For every Clarisse Bracelet from the in-house collection sold in October, the brand will donate 300€ to Ruban Rose.
