Milamore. Be sure to remember the name of this label which is shaking up the jewelry world. In just six months, the Made-in-Tokyo jewelry brand has become one of the most-follow brands. Milamore, steered by its charismatic Creative Director, George Root, seduces with its ever-so delicate pieces, which harmoniously blend the best of Japanese and Western culture.

Japan-born George Root was raised by his grandmother Mila before heading off for the United States and settling in New York. The creator, a resolute globetrotter, never forgets his native land, whose incredibly-rich culture and heritage are his greatest sources of inspiration.

With its first collection Kintsugi, Milamore pays tribute to this ancestral know-how which ennobles cracked ceramics with golden enamel. Inspired by these irregular lines, the designer imagined a series of rings like golden threads subtly caressing our fingers.

The second line focuses on crystals for which popular belief assures have the power to ward off evil spirits and absorb negative energy. Here, the stones are trapped in an extremely fine gold mesh which gives the crystals an amazing glow. Simply astonishing.
