In less than a year, the jewelry label founded by Nigora Tabayer has joined the ranks of the most desirable brands. Her stroke of genius? A collection of precious talismans featuring a protective eye in hypnotizing emerald.

Launched in March 2019 by Nigora Tabayer, the brand already enjoys a growing reputation. Mila Jovovich, Coco Rochas and Shaninna Shaik are just a few of the brand’s fans, and they’re hardly ever seen without the initial necklace, set with diamonds with a central emerald. It’s a tiny bejeweled wonder whose delicate design features a protective eye, endowing the piece with the aura of a precious talisman.

Born in Central Asia, Nigora Tabayer grew up in Europe and the United States, with an architect father and a fashion designer mother. While studying business, Nigora developed an artistic streak that blossomed in the world of jewelry. She likes to bring opposites together, and designs collections filled with deliciously luxurious pieces that are easy to wear.

Her jewelry blends ancient culture and a resolutely modern design, giving pride of place to the symbols that the designer sprinkles throughout. Her first collection (The Eye collection) is a celebration of the protective eye, a talisman that Nigora has treasured since childhood. She shares that “as a child, wherever I went, my mother wouldn’t let me go out without my elastic eye bracelet. I thought it was funny and at the same time it gave me a feeling of security. It was only later, as I grew up, that I understood the power of intention that you can attach to a piece of jewelry.” This is undoubtedly the secret of Tabayer jewelry. It conveys a powerful energy by connecting directly to the wearer’s life story.

Another distinguishing feature is her choice of emeralds, which shine in splendor. Nigora Tabayer sees these gems as protective amulets— hence her choice to feature them in each of her pieces—whose color evokes optimism and energy.
