This year Audemars Piguet has unveiled the third and final chapter of their unique fine watch trilogy: introducing the Diamond Outrage.
These three extravagant pieces paved with thousands of brilliant-cut diamonds have won over women with ease.
Following the footsteps of 2015’s Diamond Punk and 2016’s Diamond Fury, Diamond Outrage is exploding onto the luxury market in keeping with a new artistic approach to watches from the high jewelry sector. Diamond Outrage brings to mind the brand’s beloved Vallée de Joux winter landscapes. Its structure glitters with countless precious stones in different sizes available in two unique 18 carat white gold models covered in diamonds or blue sapphires.
The diamond model features three peaks coated in baguette-cut diamonds which further underlines the unusual, futuristic style of the watch.
To create such an explosive piece, the artisans at Audemars Piguet used a complex technique on the three baguette-cut diamond peaks: invisible setting. This method makes the jewels look like they’re floating in the air, as if no setting was required. The artisans used another type of setting to add sparkle to the Diamond Outrage’s peaks: snow-setting which means the gems are set so close to each other that the structure seems to disappear, like magic.
